Polish Rummy privacy

How this product uses information, where it is stored, and how to get help with your choices.

Information you provide

You may enter a player name. In Solo play, that name may be saved with your game history. In World play, your chosen or Game Center name is shown to the other people in your room and may be retained with World statistics or leaderboard results.

Apple services and private saves

World play uses Apple Game Center to authenticate players and provide their Game Center names. Solo games and game history may be saved in the private iCloud account associated with your device. A saved game can include player names, cards, draws, plays, scores, and turn timing. OBXSoft cannot directly browse data in your private iCloud database. Apple handles Apple Account information under its own privacy policies.

World games and statistics

The World service stores game state needed to keep a room synchronized and allow reconnection. This can include player names, hands, played cards, scores, a Game Center player identifier, and a credential used to reconnect to a seat. World games may contribute summary statistics such as games and hands won, buying tendencies, average scores, and average turn time. Player names and summary statistics may appear to other players and in World leaderboards; private hands and individual draw choices are not shown in player profiles or leaderboards.

Room and backup retention

After six hours without activity, the server stops a room and deletes its active room index and game snapshot. Access-restricted service backups are kept for 14 days, and a copy may remain until the next successful daily cleanup.

Support records

A limited game record may be connected to an eight-character support code to help investigate a reported issue. It contains game settings and public table activity. It excludes player names, private hands, cards drawn privately from the stack, Apple Account information, Game Center identity proofs, and sign-in details. You may request deletion of this support record by emailing us with its support code.

Gameplay information and computer players

OBXSoft may use gameplay information—such as cards dealt, choices to draw, buy, play, or discard, scores, and turn timing—to test and improve computer players. Player names, Apple Account information, and sign-in details are not used for this purpose.

Technical information, advertising, and tracking

The service records technical information such as timestamps, room codes, seat numbers, public card details for buy events, activity counts, errors, and security events. This information helps maintain World play, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues. Routine logs do not include player names, private hands, stack order, Game Center identity proofs, or seat-reconnect credentials. Polish Rummy contains no advertising, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell personal information.

Service providers and children

Apple provides Game Center, iCloud, TestFlight, and App Store distribution. Apple’s handling of account information is governed by its privacy policies. OBXSoft operates the online service used for World games. The app contains no advertising and does not knowingly request contact information from children. A parent or guardian may contact us about a privacy or deletion request.

Your choices

You can play Solo if World play or Game Center is unavailable. You can manage or delete Polish Rummy iCloud data through Apple’s iCloud storage settings. For a World service or support-record deletion request, email us with the relevant support code or a description of the request. Do not send Apple passwords, sign-in credentials, room credentials, or screenshots showing private hands.

Questions, privacy requests, and updates

Email support@obxsoft.app with the app name and the type of help you need. A parent, guardian, or authorized school representative can contact us about a student’s privacy. Please avoid sending private records or credentials.
