Information used by the app
Classroom Studio stores the planning information you enter: classes, subjects, schedules, school-year settings, lesson plans, templates, materials, assessments, assignments, and reflections. This content is used to organize, display, print, export, and synchronize your plans. Avoid adding personal student information that is not needed for lesson planning.
Local storage and optional iCloud
Planning data is saved locally on your device. If you enable iCloud synchronization, the app also uses the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. OBXSoft does not have direct access to browse that private iCloud database. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by its privacy policy and your account settings.
Printing, exports, and backups
Reports and .teacherplanner backups can contain the information in your plans. You decide where to save, print, or share them. Anyone who receives an exported file may be able to read its contents, so choose a suitable destination and protect your backups.
Retention and your choices
Plans remain in local storage and, when enabled, private iCloud storage until removed. Disabling synchronization is not the same as deleting existing iCloud data. Export a backup before making changes that could remove your plans. You can manage app data through the app and Apple’s iCloud storage controls; contact support for help identifying the right steps for your version.
Support and service providers
If you contact support, we receive your email address, message, and anything you attach. Please remove private student information before sending screenshots or files. Apple provides the platform, iCloud, and any App Store or TestFlight distribution. This app does not include advertising or third-party behavioral analytics in the version described here.
Questions, privacy requests, and updates
Email support@obxsoft.app with the app name and the type of help you need. A parent, guardian, or authorized school representative can contact us about a student’s privacy. Please avoid sending private records or credentials.
